This small, family-run campsite in Belgium offers a mixed experience depending on the year and ongoing industrial activities. It consists of a grassy, sloping field with trees around the perimeter, suitable for tents and motorhomes. The sanitary facilities are described as dated but clean, with hot showers available. The staff, particularly manager Monsieur Jean, are consistently praised for their warm welcome and hospitality. In recent years, the site has been noted for its quietness, cleanliness, and excellent value for money, making it an ideal overnight stop for travelers heading south. However, earlier reviews highlight a significant drawback: a nearby quarry and waste disposal center that operate from early morning, producing extremely loud noise that makes peaceful sleep impossible. This issue was severe enough to deter a reviewer from ever returning. By 2024 and 2025, the noise appears to have been mitigated, though some unpleasant smells and road dust from the quarry persist. The site lacks a playground but has nice picnic areas and is close to a Lidl supermarket in Sprimont for supplies. Pitches for tents are sloping, while motorhome spaces are level. Overall, this campsite provides a basic, no-frills experience that pleasantly exceeds expectations for a simple, budget-friendly stopover when the industrial noise is not a factor.
