This peaceful campsite sits along the Lot River, offering a serene escape with very few other guests during our early October stay. The owners deliver an exceptionally friendly welcome in French, setting a warm, personal tone. A major draw is the spacious, hedge-screened pitches that grant excellent privacy and room to relax. However, the swimming pool had already closed for the season, despite promotional materials stating it would remain open until late October. Basic bread and fresh groceries are not available on-site; the nearest shops are a few kilometers away. The sanitary block, while clean and featuring wonderfully warm showers, could use some modernization. With only about seven occupied pitches and several permanent mobile homes occupied, the atmosphere is quiet and uncrowded. We were unable to assess any food, drink, entertainment, or swimming pool services during our visit. The absence of a shop and pool limits self-sufficiency and seasonal appeal. The warm showers and cleanliness of the facilities stand out as positives. The campsite’s tranquility is a key asset, especially for those seeking a restful stay. The owners' personal attention enhances the overall experience. The pitches are not only large but also well-screened for privacy. The location along the river adds natural charm. However, the early pool closure and lack of on-site provisions require advance planning. For a quiet, spacious, and private pitch with excellent service, this site delivers admirably in low season.
