Amenities
Kids friendlyRestaurant
Nestled among beautiful natural scenery, this family-run campground offers a short walk into town and easy highway access for travelers. The staff are consistently praised as exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful, going out of their way to assist guests with everything from campervan issues to local advice. The atmosphere is wonderfully calm and quiet, providing a restful retreat ideal for relaxation and excellent sleep quality. Pitches are pleasant and spacious, with a riverside walking path on site and a charming village just five minutes away. Guests particularly enjoy the charming menagerie of rabbits, goats, and chickens that roam freely, adding a playful rural touch. The on-site snack bar serves an exceptional omelette that stands out as a highlight. However, the sanitary facilities are in a deplorable state, with dirty toilets and showers often lacking toilet paper and hand soap. The small restaurant delivers poor experiences, with burnt and undercooked chicken brochettes reported, and it closes after September. Reception communicates only in French and is not particularly service-oriented. Despite the cleanliness and dining drawbacks, the peaceful environment, attentive management, and early March opening make it a reliable choice for overnight stays. Guests often plan return visits for the warm welcome and memorable combination of convenience and hospitality. The pitches are wonderfully quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay for those seeking relaxation. The campsite's surroundings and individual pitches are pleasant for an overnight stop. The welcoming service and unique farmyard experience create a memorable stay. Many guests suggest planning an extended visit to fully enjoy the area's attractions, including the nearby Chaîne des Volcans region.
