The grounds are impeccably maintained, with clean, green spaces and a shaded setting thanks to many trees, which is especially welcome on hot days. Pitches are spacious and provide plenty of room, even during the busy summer season. The owners are consistently praised for their warm welcome, friendliness, and attentive service, going out of their way to ensure guests feel comfortable. The swimming pool is a standout feature, diligently cared for and perfect for cooling off, though it can sometimes feel a bit busy. Alongside the pool, the river flowing alongside the property offers a natural spot for a refreshing dip. A snack bar or on-site restaurant serves good food, including excellent draft beer, and fresh bread and pastries are delivered each morning to your pitch. The atmosphere remains calm and restful, with quiet evenings respected by all, making it an ideal spot for unwinding. Children have safe space to play, with a playground and trampoline providing extra fun, though operating hours can be limited. For those traveling with dogs, the surrounding area is great for walks. The location is perfect for exploring the region, with superb hiking, cycling on green routes, and nearby attractions such as the Mas d'Azil cave and Xploria. A local market takes place on Wednesday mornings in Le Mas-d'Azil, within walking distance. Some guests have noted occasional noise from the nearby road or from other campers' dogs, but overall the campsite remains a tranquil haven. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-stocked, with soap and toilet paper provided. While the restaurant prices were considered a bit high by some, the overall value for money is seen as reasonable. This charming campsite leaves a lasting impression, with many guests returning year after year.
