This campsite sits on a beautiful plateau with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, giving you a sense of being right at the edge of the world. At night, you can fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing below. In the morning, if the surf is up, the campsite comes alive with the buzz of surfers heading out to sea. It's a fantastic location for ocean lovers and those seeking a dramatic coastal setting. The constant ocean breeze and sound of waves create a naturally immersive atmosphere. The campsite has direct beach access, and the nearby town of Biarritz is just 4 km away, easily reachable by bike. The site is also close to San Sebastian in Spain. The staff is friendly and the on-site restaurant serves good food. However, the toilets and showers are in separate buildings, which some may find inconvenient. The showers are very dirty with an unpleasant water stream that is hard, wide, and cold. The sanitary facilities are otherwise very clean and include toilet paper. Pitches are of a decent size, though difficult to access with larger caravans. Since the campsite is situated on a cliff, the pitches vary considerably in flatness. Only the last six pitches in the blue zone offer direct ocean views, and management honestly discloses this when booking. The on-site shop has a good selection of supplies. Overall, it is a suitable campsite for those primarily interested in surfing.
