Set within a stunning landscaped domain beside a large lake, this campsite offers a harmonious blend of playful moments and peaceful tranquility, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that many find exceptionally friendly. The on-site snack bar and restaurant consistently receive high praise for their high-quality meals, often featuring local products, while regular activities, concerts, and live entertainment add a convivial vibe. Guests appreciate the wide range of recreational options, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, and golf course, as well as pedalos and a fishing court, though some facilities show signs of wear and may incur extra fees. The pitches are spacious, semi-shaded with good grass coverage, and the verdant setting provides a comfortable backdrop for camping. However, cleanliness and maintenance issues have been noted across several years, including infrequently cleaned showers, blocked toilets, broken showers, poor lighting, and insect infestations. Water access presents a problem, with only a single tap for waste and refilling, and water points near pitches sometimes nonfunctional, forcing guests to carry water. Hot water for dishwashing is reportedly not provided, adding inconvenience. The Wi-Fi connection is poor, and mobile phone reception can be unavailable during key hours, leading to frustrating waits at the barrier upon arrival. While the swimming pool is refreshingly cool on hot days, it is considered small and chilly in cooler weather, with strict lifeguard rules. The lake access has been locked in recent years, limiting its appeal. The shop has been described as empty, and bar prices are high. Despite these drawbacks, the staff are overwhelmingly praised for being welcoming, attentive, and quick to resolve issues, and the overall value is considered excellent given the peaceful setting and central location near attractions such as Puy du Fou, Futuroscope, and the Marais Poitevin.
