Camping Le Logis du Breuil
This expansive campsite boasts around 400 pitches, with 300 dedicated to camping, offering a choice between sunny open fields and shaded forest sections. Guests must decide their preferred area in advance, as each offers a distinct ambiance. One large forest pitch measured an impressive 150 square meters and included water and drainage, with static caravans behind and campers in front. The site predominantly attracts English guests, who are generally well-behaved and not disruptive. Three sanitary blocks serve the campground, with one modern building featuring pleasant showers, while two older blocks are clean with warm water but show signs of age. A bakery and a small Coop grocery store are just a ten-minute walk away for daily essentials. Beaches and supermarkets are within a fifteen-minute drive, with Saint-Palais, Vaux-sur-Mer, and Royan offering delightful seaside strolls. The swimming pool is enjoyable and a highlight for many visitors. The on-site restaurant serves good food, creating a convivial spot for dining. Pitches are generously sized, providing a sense of privacy even without hedges. The forest area offers abundant shade, perfect for hot summer days, though it also attracts many mosquitoes. A long power cable of at least 25 meters may be necessary for electric hookups. Hedges in the forest section could enhance privacy even further. The campground has spacious pitches and a peaceful atmosphere, though the lack of marked boundaries in open areas reduces seclusion.
