This campsite has seen better days and fails to live up to its star rating. The overall atmosphere is one of neglect and decline. While the showers are pleasant, the rest of the facilities are in poor condition. Electrical hookups are loose and unsafe, with sockets coming away from the ground. The staff appeared tired and disengaged at the end of the season. The playground is littered with dog waste, creating an unhygienic environment for children. The children's paddling pool has not been cleaned since the start of the season. A broken dryer adds to the frustration for guests. Many other facilities were closed as the season wound down, limiting what's available. Overall, the campsite does not offer good value for money, especially considering the ACSI price. The poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness are major drawbacks. Safety concerns with the electrical hookups are particularly alarming. The disengaged staff fail to provide a welcoming experience. This campsite is in serious need of renovation and better management. It is best avoided until significant improvements are made.
