Its location serves as an excellent base for exploring the historic city of Besançon, which is accessible by bus via the Mobigo LR204 line from the center of Ornans; the journey takes about 30 minutes. Single tickets for the bus can be purchased onboard. For outdoor enthusiasts, the surrounding area is perfect for walking and hiking, allowing guests to enjoy the natural landscape. The campsite features a fantastic swimming pool with clean, inviting water, providing a refreshing option for relaxation. Overall, this is a convenient and pleasant spot for both cultural excursions and enjoying the outdoors. However, recent visits reveal some drawbacks. Most pitches are uneven, and some require long cables for electricity hookups. The reception service is acceptable. Only one of the dishwashing sinks provides warm water, which may be inconvenient. WiFi signal is weak, though it improves near the reception area. Overall, the site feels functional but lacks polish in several areas.
