This large, wooded campsite offers a fabulous seaside location with spacious, shaded pitches under pine trees, providing both privacy and shade. It is conveniently located for visiting Gallipoli, with a complementary shuttle service available. The beach is directly accessible, though it can be unremarkable with noticeable seaweed and odors at times; during certain seasons, seagrass may cover the shore. Despite high occupancy, especially in late September, the facilities remain impeccably clean and modern, with recently renovated sanitary blocks and free hot water, though shower stalls are cramped. The site is very family-friendly and welcomes dogs, making it a great choice for pet owners. The owners and staff, particularly Fabio and Simona, are notably friendly, hospitable, and speak English well. On-site, you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, and the well-stocked shop offers local products; the bar serves excellent red wine, but dining at the restaurant received poor reviews, with only adequate options at the snack bar. The atmosphere is generally relaxed and welcoming, though the layout can feel chaotic. Noise is a significant issue for some, as a nearby open-air disco and general nightlife can disturb sleep, making it unsuitable for those seeking peace and quiet; however, other reviews describe a peaceful atmosphere at night and morning. Pitch sizes are generous, and the grounds are well-maintained with ample shade. Overall, it is a pleasant place to stay, though prices are relatively high.
