For more than a decade, this campsite has drawn visitors back with its winning combination of swimming pools and an enviable location near Saint-Malo, Dinard, and Cap Fréhel, making it a superb base for coastal exploration. The staff are consistently praised for their warm and welcoming demeanor, which sets a friendly tone from the moment guests arrive. Spacious pitches, though sometimes without clear separation, provide plenty of room for caravans and cars, while the overall ambiance has historically been peaceful and relaxing. On-site dining offers a limited but very good menu, with tasty and affordable french fries being a particular highlight. The swimming pool area, featuring both outdoor and indoor options, is well maintained and adds to the site's appeal. A short walk leads to a beautiful beach, perfect for seaside activities. However, recent years have revealed significant challenges, particularly with sanitary conditions. The shower blocks are not cleaned regularly, with mold appearing even in newer sections, and water temperatures are lukewarm with no user control. There is no warm water for dishwashing, baby facilities lack bath plugs, and toilet paper often runs out by evening with no staff to replenish it. Noise has become a serious issue, with many guests ignoring quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., driving fast without any enforcement from the otherwise friendly team. Dogs are allowed but have no dedicated facilities, and the on-site beach bans them, with limited walking areas available. Despite these drawbacks, some guests still find the mix of amenities and location solid for a seaside camping trip, and the staff's hospitality remains a standout feature that encourages return visits. Some pitches can feel a bit tight even for modest-sized caravans and cars. Overall, the campsite offers a blend of strengths and weaknesses, with pleasant staff and good pools tempered by inconsistent maintenance and noise concerns.
