Over the years, this campsite has undergone a dramatic transformation, evolving from a disappointing stretch into a genuinely welcoming stopover. In its earliest phase, guests found a deeply tranquil and friendly atmosphere, with exceptionally kind staff and a strong emphasis on cleanliness. Restrooms were well-kept, and the overall environment was calm and peaceful, making it a solid choice for a quiet stay. However, the following year saw a precipitous decline; the grounds were described as a bleak, plowed field with only gravel and electricity posts. The chemical toilet disposal was primitive, requiring an immediate shower due to splash-back, and the site offered no activities for dogs or humans. Visitors left feeling traumatized and bored. Happily, the most recent reviews paint a completely different picture. The campsite has been revitalized as a family-friendly stopover, perfect for travelers heading to Spain. The friendly managers speak excellent English and provide a warm welcome. Sanitary facilities are nearly new and spotless, with clean warm showers. Security is enhanced by a locked gate at night, with codes provided to guests. Free WiFi and strong 5G mobile coverage keep everyone connected, while a washing machine and dryer cater to longer stays. Recreation options now include a swimming pool, mini-golf, pétanque, a playground, and shaded picnic tables. The reception even offers well-designed cycling routes starting from the site, adding to its appeal for active travelers. Overall, this campsite has shown remarkable resilience, bouncing back from a low point to become a well-appointed and friendly destination.
