The pitches are generously sized, each with electric hook-up, and guests can position their setup as they please across their allocated plot. Spectacular views over open farmland and a distant church clock chiming add to the site's rural charm. The atmosphere is very quiet and serene, though some road noise is occasionally mentioned; most guests report sleeping soundly with little to no traffic noise. The hosts, Ian and Julie, are a friendly British couple repeatedly praised for their exceptional hospitality, often greeting guests by name with a complimentary hot drink and biscuit upon arrival. They are chatty and helpful, sharing fascinating local history—Ian can even tell you about historic finds and the timber used for Notre Dame Cathedral—and offering advice on things to do in the area. The sanitary facilities, including a combined shower and toilet that is roomy enough to change in, are consistently described as clean, modern, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like free toilet paper and a squeegee to keep the floor tidy. A covered seating area with garden furniture provides a sheltered spot for cooking or relaxing. The site is situated just 600 meters from the Véloscénie cycling route, making it an ideal stop for cyclists. Mobile phone reception is perfectly acceptable for streaming, so the lack of WiFi is not an issue. While the site is not close to a town, this only enhances the sense of seclusion and tranquility.
