This campsite offers total freedom in nature, allowing guests to choose their own pitch and find the perfect spot. The atmosphere is notably tolerant and child-friendly, making it a welcoming destination for families. Guests enjoy direct access to a lake, along with a climbing park and rentals for boats and stand-up paddleboards. Management is straightforward and uncomplicated, ensuring a hassle-free stay. Cleanliness is well maintained throughout the grounds, enhancing the overall experience. The site combines outdoor freedom with essential amenities for a wonderful escape. However, past reports painted a starkly different picture, with filthy sanitary facilities, only two showers for over fifty campers, and loud noise from music until at least 10 pm. Staff previously ignored mask requirements, failed to provide receipts, and could be dismissive, such as leaving bread orders unfulfilled without apology. Recycling was practically nonexistent, and basic services like water filling and grey water disposal were completely missing. Chemical toilet disposal was handled through a hole in the grass, which was unsanitary and poorly maintained. The dishwashing area was left uncleaned and littered with cigarette butts. The grounds were uneven, and pitch privacy and shade were lacking. Given these widespread problems, the site's annual inspection claims seemed hard to believe. Recent reviews indicate a dramatic turnaround, with cleanliness, staff, and family-friendliness now highly praised. The lake access and adventurous activities add to the appeal. Overall, the campsite has transformed from a neglected site into a relaxing nature retreat.
