This campsite boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk from a lovely sandy beach and close to local shops, making it easy to explore the area without a car. The entertainment team is energetic and dedicated, working hard to keep guests engaged with activities, even when the weather disappoints. A decent-sized swimming pool with fun slides and a playground provide ample entertainment for younger visitors. Pitches are a highlight, consistently described as large, flat, and shaded, with many offering privacy through screened hedges. Reception, bar, and shop staff are frequently praised for their friendly and helpful demeanor. However, the sanitary facilities are a major point of contention, with guests repeatedly describing them as old, dirty, poorly maintained, and foul-smelling. Toilet paper, soap, and sanitary bins are often missing, and showers frequently run cold with standing water on the floor. Cleaning seems infrequent and superficial, adding to the overall sense of neglect. The pool area also has issues, including dirty water, muddy floors, and lifeguards who appear distracted rather than attentive. Enforcement of pool rules is inconsistent, with swim shorts banned but leggings and t-shirts allowed. Noise from children and teenagers roaming late at night, playing loud music, and causing disturbances disrupts the peace for many visitors. Security does not always intervene effectively to address these issues, and Wi-Fi is completely absent. The site overall shows signs of deterioration, with broken or makeshift repairs visible on furniture and barriers. Limited water points and unreliable electricity connections add to the frustration. While the price is considered very reasonable by some, the poor state of the facilities leads many to feel the value is lacking. Some guests have cut their stays short and struggled to obtain refunds, while others have enjoyed a calm and pleasant visit and would recommend it.
