This campsite offers a wonderfully tranquil setting, making it an ideal base for travelers seeking peace and quiet, especially outside the high season when the permanent pitches are occupied and the atmosphere becomes busier and noisier. The reception is described as friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone from arrival, and the staff are notably helpful and responsive when addressing concerns. The entire property is meticulously maintained, with spotless cleanliness and carefully tended greenery, while the sanitary facilities are clean, modern, heated, and kept in pristine condition with reliably hot water. On-site dining is available, though the restaurant currently operates only on weekends, serving excellent meals for the price, including a glass of wine and water, and providing good value. There is a small shop stocking basic necessities plus fresh bread daily except Monday. The surrounding area is rich with cycling and walking routes, and the nearby town of Olot is a pleasant Spanish town with good dining options and a Monday market offering mostly delicious local products. The forest section provides plenty of shade, though finding a level spot for a tent there requires a bit of searching. While the site is pet-friendly, this feature can sometimes detract from the overall experience due to poorly behaved dogs and owners who fail to manage their pets, with persistent barking on weekends significantly disrupting the peace. As a result, weekends may be particularly challenging for those seeking complete serenity. Despite this drawback, the campsite's location, helpful team, and high standard of upkeep remain strong positives for many guests, with visitors expressing a strong desire to return.
