Nestled among trees with beautiful sea views, this visually stunning campsite—also known as La Courance—offers a unique opportunity to explore scenic coastal trails and observe traditional fishing activities influenced by the rhythm of the tides. It is an ideal base for nature lovers and photographers eager to capture the interplay between land and sea. Walking along the shoreline, guests can witness how the changing tides dictate the workings of local fisheries, adding an educational element to their stay. The surrounding landscape provides ample chances for leisurely strolls and immersive experiences in the coastal environment. While the focus is on outdoor exploration, the campsite itself serves as a peaceful retreat for those seeking a connection with nature. However, the reality can be quite different for many visitors. The heated lagoon and water slides are the main draws, yet the beach is over a kilometer away across an inaccessible nature reserve, contrary to promotional photos. Cleanliness issues plague the outdated sanitary block, which suffers from an unpleasant odor and insufficient toilets and showers. Noise from organized activities and music regularly disturbs the peace, a complaint echoed by multiple guests. The on-site restaurant offers only a meager bread service, and the promised mobile baker failed to arrive. Pitches lack individual water taps, and for those in premium mobile homes, the parking spot is inconveniently distant from the accommodation. While the mobile homes are clean and staff are welcoming, the overall value for money is poor. Families with children appreciate the pirate-themed pool and lagoon, but the campsite's shortcomings—dirtiness, noise, and high cost—make it a mixed experience at best. The overall atmosphere encourages a slow, mindful pace, but for many, this promise remains unfulfilled.
