This large pine forest campsite in Hourtin-Plage offers a mix of sun and shade with spacious, natural pitches that lend a wild feel. The atmosphere is generally excellent and very quiet in the rear area, though the front section near the restaurant and entertainment can be lively in peak season. Modern sanitary facilities are cleaned multiple times daily and are very clean, with warm water and toilet paper now provided, though earlier reports noted its absence. The swimming pool is a highlight, and a new aqua park is planned for 2024; a pirate-themed water playground with slides is particularly popular among children, though the water can be cold and sun loungers are lacking. The beach is just 300 meters from the entrance, with strong waves and tidal changes, plus a designated swimming area with lifeguards. The on-site shop is a large supermarket offering fresh bread and local products, alongside a restaurant with takeaway and a wine shop. Evening entertainment and animation near the restaurant enliven the front area, but some guests have reported issues with booking and pitch allocation, including being placed on a gravel parking spot near tennis courts with no privacy or shade. Despite this, many guests would consider returning, praising the campsite's overall beauty and family-friendly features, particularly the peaceful forest setting and proximity to the ocean and lakes. The campsite also offers a fitness room, game room with snooker and table tennis, and plans further improvements.
