Camping La Coronne near Valréas offers a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing retreat, ideal for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. Guests are consistently welcomed by the exceptionally friendly and attentive owner, Bruno, who is always present and dedicated to ensuring every guest enjoys a perfect stay. The pitches are notably spacious and mostly shaded by magnificent ancient oaks, providing comfort and shelter from the Mistral wind. The facilities, though somewhat dated, are kept immaculately clean with multiple daily cleanings, and warm showers with plenty of toilet paper are reliably available. The swimming pool is pristine, warm, and crystal-clear, perfect for a refreshing dip. WiFi reception is outstanding, often described as the strongest guests have experienced at any campsite. The site organizes weekly tastings of local wines, cheeses, and nougat during June and September, and also sells local delicacies. Evenings are delightfully quiet, with only the sounds of birdsong and the occasional squirrel. A modest bar serves drinks and famously delicious pizza, with special evening events like wine tastings and daily specials on certain days. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with the charming town of Valréas just a 15-minute walk away, offering bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, and heritage sites. The surrounding area is excellent for cycling, hiking, and excursions to nearby villages. Dogs are very welcome, especially when the site is not full, allowing plenty of space. Many guests who planned a short stay ended up extending their visit for weeks due to the wonderful atmosphere and hospitality. The combination of Bruno's warm care, the shady spacious pitches, and the peaceful environment creates a near-perfect camping experience that makes visitors eagerly plan their return.
