Nestled in a tranquil hamlet away from main roads, this campsite offers a peaceful retreat with a well-kept setting. The highlights are the fantastic heated swimming pool and lake area, complete with slides that delight children. Spacious pitches, many shaded by trees and separated by hedges, provide a degree of privacy, though uneven ground and low hedges can be drawbacks. The overall atmosphere is serene, with guests often hearing owls at night, but occasional noise from late-night car movements and loud youth can disrupt the calm. Staff receive mixed feedback: reception is generally friendly and helpful, but some have encountered inflexible attitudes regarding check-out times. The on-site bar and restaurant serve decent food with themed nights and Basque music, though hours can be inconsistent, and the snack bar is not open nightly. Sanitary facilities are a common complaint: despite multiple daily cleanings, they feel tired, with inconsistent hot water, lack of toilet paper and soap, and occasional poor cleanliness. Washing machines are available. The pool and lake area is excellent for families, with a heated pool and slides, plus a playground and trampoline. Wi-Fi is available at extra cost. The campsite is remote, with no nearby restaurants or bars, and electric hookups may require extension cables. Pitches are spacious but some are uneven with smelly spots. The site feels safe for children to roam freely. Overall, it is a nice campsite with great recreational facilities but some maintenance and service issues. Notable features include the heated pool and lake, family-friendly atmosphere, and spacious shaded pitches.
