A consistently high-performing campsite where the staff's exceptional service and welcoming attitude stand out year after year. Guests repeatedly praise the team for their helpfulness, friendly demeanor, and excellent English, making check-in smooth and the overall stay pleasant. The large, shaded pitches are a major highlight, offering generous space and privacy among trees or hedges. Cleanliness of the facilities is generally commendable, with modern wash blocks and well-maintained showers and toilets that earn top marks in recent visits. The swimming pool—and especially the heated pool—is a beloved feature, perfect for families and described as clean, well-supervised, and a key contributor to a relaxing holiday. A lovely woodland walk on site and proximity to cycle paths and the beautiful beach at Mimizan Plage are major draws for active travelers and dog owners. The on-site bar and food area provide a rustic, convivial atmosphere with good food and drinks. The site is well-run and quiet at night, offering a peaceful stay ideal for touring with easy access to tourist attractions and a nearby town. However, overcrowding during peak times can be an issue, and noise becomes problematic due to a lack of curfew. Some pitches have been found small, dusty, or lacking privacy hedges, and facilities like the pool and restrooms occasionally fall into disrepair. Showers close early at 11 PM, and there is no supermarket on site, though a walkable convenience store exists nearby. The roads are marred by severe speed bumps and potholes, and Wi-Fi quality is very poor. Mobile network coverage can also be patchy. Despite these drawbacks, the positive aspects—especially the staff, pitches, pool, and cleanliness—far outweigh the negatives, making this a recommended choice for a family-friendly and active holiday.
