It clearly aims to please families, boasting two pools, a water slide, a sizable playground with a bouncy castle and trampoline. The on-site shop and reception operate seasonally, stocking bread and local jams, while a small artisan food market occasionally pops up in the bar. Pitches were once flat and well-shaded, contributing to a generally quiet atmosphere. However, recent management changes have led to a sharp decline in upkeep. Many pitches are now muddy, uneven, or bare, and some are deceptively small—barely fitting a vehicle under six meters despite booking assurances. Sanitary facilities frequently draw criticism for overflowing bins, missing drain pipes, and inconsistent hot water. Electrical hookups are poorly placed, often requiring long cables that can block neighbors. New chalet construction has left muddy or dusty areas, and ongoing work with drills and grinders has driven some guests to leave early. Cleanliness upon arrival is a recurring issue, with rentals not properly prepared and overall hygiene falling short. The restaurant now serves overpriced, burned pizza if it is open at all, and Wi-Fi is very limited. Receptions staff are polite, but when problems arise, they offer unhelpful solutions and refuse refunds, even for unsuitable pitches. In just a few years, a once well-kept campground has become an overcrowded field with holiday homes. The price-performance ratio no longer matches the quality offered. While the location remains excellent for exploring the city, the cramped pitches, poor maintenance, and variable service are significant drawbacks for a comfortable stay.
