Camping La Bourgnatelle sits in Bretenoux, Lot, nestled beside a peaceful river or stream. The campsite is within walking distance of Bretenoux village, where you can find shops, bakeries, and local markets. It also lies near popular attractions like Martel, Rocamadour, and Sarlat, making it a convenient base for exploring the Dordogne region. The grounds cover three hectares at an altitude of 150 metres, offering a pleasant rural setting. There are 40 touring pitches ranging from 80 to 120 square metres, plus two dedicated motorhome pitches. Pitches come in three types: shaded, semi-shaded, and open sunny spots. For those who prefer a ready-made stay, 90 mobile homes are available for rent. The campsite is open from 1 April to 31 October each year. Accessibility is a priority, with facilities suitable for guests with disabilities. It is not a naturist campsite. ACSI inspects the site annually to ensure quality and safety standards are met. The inspector, Mr Ph.P. Cappetti, checks facilities, cleanliness, and service each year. The setting along the water adds a natural charm, with gentle sounds and riverside views. The terrain is level and well-maintained, with marked pitches that offer good privacy. The location balances quiet countryside with easy access to local villages and historic towns. Overall, this is a well-run site that appeals to both touring guests and those renting accommodation.
