Camping Kleine Belterwijde
This family-run campsite offers a wonderful atmosphere and stunning surroundings that make it a visually appealing retreat. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who enhance the overall experience across multiple visits. The site is undergoing a gradual transformation, with older areas being updated to modern standards for improved comfort. Newly developed pitches are notably spacious and provide a good sense of privacy, though some older pitches remain on the smaller side. In September, the site becomes peaceful and quiet, offering a serene setting ideal for relaxation. The beautiful toilet building stands out as a highlight of the sanitary facilities. However, the limited number of showers—only three, including a family unit—often leads to frustrating queues, especially during peak times. This bottleneck detracts from an otherwise satisfactory stay, and campers who prioritize quick access to showers may find it disappointing. The pitches are marked by hedges, and while a 470 cm caravan with awning just fits between boundaries, larger setups may feel constrained. The stunning surrounding area makes the campsite a great base for exploration. The family-run atmosphere adds a warm and welcoming touch to the stay. Overall, the site combines natural beauty with a welcoming, improving environment, though additional shower units are clearly needed to meet demand.
