Nestled right on a pebbly-sand beach under a canopy of tall, shady trees, this campsite enjoys a prime seaside location that many travelers find stunning. The reception staff consistently receive high praise for their exceptional friendliness, helpfulness, and ability to speak fluent German, making international guests feel welcome. A bus stop within a ten-minute walk provides convenient connections to the historic town of Nafplio, and the site is also a good base for cycling to Epidauros. However, the sanitary facilities are a major point of criticism across multiple years, described as outdated, poorly maintained, and often dirty, with rusty shower heads and extra fees for showers. The pitches are very small and extremely tightly packed, offering little privacy or comfort despite some natural shade. The on-site market is considered overpriced, and the restaurant or bar offers a very limited menu, mostly just pizzas and toasts. The overnight fee is deemed too high compared to other camps, leading to poor value for money overall. While the beach access and shady location remain the standout assets, many other aspects—including cleanliness, space, and peace—fall short of expectations. Travelers seeking spacious, well-maintained, and quiet surroundings may want to consider other options, but those prioritizing a beautiful seaside setting and friendly service might still find charm here.
