The on-site restaurant impresses with excellent Swiss cuisine and a cozy ambiance, often highlighted as a dining highlight far exceeding typical campsite expectations. Facilities are modern, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, including sanitary blocks, powerful showers, a launderette, and a heated dry room for gear. A well-stocked shop operates daily for essentials and local produce. The atmosphere is generally peaceful and welcoming, though some guests note occasional odors from a nearby farm. However, several issues can detract from the experience. Access is a notable challenge, as the final approach uses a crowded road that feels like a busy shopping street, making navigation with a caravan or camper difficult and potentially dangerous. Pitches can be small for the price, with everyone placed close together, and the ground becomes very muddy in wet weather. Toilets can reach their limit during busy stays, leading to queues, and poor nighttime lighting and potholes on roads add to the frustration. Guests are assigned pitches without choice, and one visitor was left on a muddy spot that flooded after thunderstorms, with complaints dismissed by staff. Check-in is not possible until 14:30 due to a midday break, and vacating is required by 10:00, which some find mismatched with a relaxed holiday pace.
