This campsite sits in a beautiful natural setting with a unique location that includes a scenic approach past a popular surfing hotspot. While the natural surroundings are lovely, the experience varies dramatically depending on when you visit. In the past, the campsite charged premium prices far exceeding the value delivered, with staff showing a clear preference for mobile-home guests over regular campers. Pitches had absolutely no shade from early morning until evening, forcing guests to escape the scorching sun. The so-called sea-view premium pitch barely offered a glimpse unless you were over 1.70 meters tall, and space was only enough for a VW van with no room for an awning. Showers were hot with good pressure but ridiculously tiny, leaving no room for a towel or belongings. Hygiene was a serious concern with mostly squat toilets and subpar cleanliness, and the pitch was littered with screws that could damage tires. Evening beach parties created loud music until late, though the campsite had no control over that. More recent visits paint a different picture, with guests praising how well-organized and smoothly run everything is. The staff's attention to order and structure contributes to a hassle-free stay, and the combination of prime setting and efficient operations makes for a pleasant experience. Cleanliness has dramatically improved to become spotless at all hours, though toilet paper is not provided so visitors must come prepared. Pitches remain relatively tight and may not suit those seeking ample space. The campsite offers a mixed bag: tidy and clean but compact, with several practical drawbacks alongside genuine highlights.
