This campsite consistently earns praise for its spotless cleanliness, with sanitary blocks cleaned multiple times daily to an impeccable standard. Staff are repeatedly described as exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, with many speaking Dutch, which enhances communication for international guests. The spacious, well-defined pitches offer ample shade from natural tree cover, ensuring comfort for all types of campers. Two large swimming pools are a highlight, notably the upper pool with stunning sea views, while the site also maintains a small supermarket stocked with fresh bread and daily essentials. A restaurant, bar, and takeaway service provide convenient dining options, and the restaurant is noted for delicious food at reasonable prices. The campsite is within a short, five-minute walk of a lovely sandy bay and the charming town of l'Escala, where visitors find shops, supermarkets, ice cream parlors, and additional eateries. Guests enjoy cliffside walks, cycling opportunities, and electric bike routes that reward with panoramic bay views. Quiet hours after 10 pm or midnight ensure a peaceful atmosphere, though daytime activity and typical Spanish noise from children can occur. The site is divided into two sections by a small road: one busier side near a sandy beach and a quieter side with more breeze and a rocky beach popular for snorkeling. Security is vigilant, controlling noise effectively, and the site becomes very quiet in off-season. Dogs are welcomed, including in the restaurant during rain, and a separate gate gives direct access to the forest for dog walks, though there is a lack of dedicated dog facilities like waste bags and dog showers. Some guests found the check-in process inconvenient, requiring a walk to find a free pitch before confirming at reception, which can get crowded with long waits. The cancellation policy is extremely strict, offering no refunds for early departures due to health reasons, which has caused financial loss for some travelers. Overall, the campsite has a loyal clientele who return year after year, often booking their next stay well in advance, but potential guests should ensure their travel plans are firm. The forested setting on sandy ground provides a tranquil backdrop for a beach getaway, making it ideal for both active travelers and families.
