This campsite is beautifully situated against the mountains, with direct access to ski slopes in winter and a bikepark, summer toboggan run, and zip-lining nearby. The pitches on the main camping area are green and shaded by trees and bushes, while special camper pitches are bare and located outside the main area. A brand-new sanitary building is fantastic and exceptionally clean, and there is also a washing machine and dryer available. Two dining facilities exist, one open only in winter and the other year-round. The site hosts many long-term campers, with upper pitches for motorhomes and caravans. Electricity incurs high additional costs, which can be a downside. Some guests experienced poor flexibility regarding weather-related early departures and cancellations, as fees remained unchanged even during heavy rain and flooding. Guests had two stays at this campsite in early 2024 and enjoyed both. The staff were praised for their excellent support and friendliness, particularly for lending pallets to keep the awning dry during heavy rain. The personal touch and helpfulness of the team left a lasting impression. Despite the weather challenges, guests expressed gratitude and eagerness to return. The site appears well-managed and accommodating to visitors' needs. This campsite features a terraced layout that maximizes views and space, and its location is excellent for accessing the Rauher Busch chairlift. The sanitary facilities are described as very good, contributing to a comfortable stay. The overall setting is well-regarded for its convenience and quality. Guests appreciate the direct connection to outdoor activities like skiing or hiking via the nearby lift. The site is suitable for both tents and motorhomes, offering flexibility for different types of campers. However, the narrow pitches are not suitable for even small caravans, and placing a caravan sideways is impossible. The restaurant on site is closed. A major attraction, a chairlift, operates only in winter. The cancellation policy appears inflexible: a request to change dates due to illness was treated as a cancellation, and the requested replacement dates were only offered days later, then revoked for lack of prompt response. The site was reportedly fully booked again shortly after the original cancellation, raising suspicions of overbooking. Overall, the experience left some guests feeling cheated, but the positive experiences outweigh the negatives for many visitors.
