From the outer edge, there are wide views with the sun rising in front, passing behind to provide shade for caravans, and setting to the left behind the Luttelberg. A sheltered, enclosed field protects from wind, though being on the outside can be a minor drawback. The sanitary facilities are minimal and basic, but the tranquility—only natural sounds—and the surrounding Sallandse Heuvelrug region compensate. The campground hosts various animals like rabbits, peacocks, chickens, and goats. For those seeking total relaxation, this is a highly recommended destination.
