This campsite serves as an excellent base for outdoor activities, including cycling, walking, and exploring nearby caves. The landscape is beautiful, and guests appreciate the welcoming atmosphere. In recent years, the site has been exceptionally well-maintained, with consistently clean sanitary facilities. The staff are generally friendly, though some reception interactions have been noted as unfriendly. The swimming pool is a highlight for families, particularly during holiday periods when children's activities are abundant. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, but it can become very busy on weekends. A farm shop is available but considered overpriced by some, and its selection is limited. There is a two-tier system with an inner area of larger pitches surrounded by permanent campers, and an outer meadow with smaller touring pitches. The inner area can make tourists feel unwelcome, while the outer meadow offers a more genuine touring atmosphere. Some pitches are sloped, and the outer meadow can become extremely muddy. Waste disposal is inconvenient, with limited daily windows and facilities located far from some pitches. Water access is also inconvenient for some campers. Internet WiFi has been reported as not working as advertised. Nighttime noise from Saturday entertainment has been noted, despite quiet hours requests. During low season, the site is quiet with few occupants. Fresh bread rolls are available in the morning without pre-ordering. The location is excellent for visiting the attractive cities of Ulm, Blaubeuren, and Bad Urach. Overall, the site is recommended for short stays and as a base for exploring the region, though pricing can be high and some logistical challenges exist.
