StaffQuietnessValue for money
This campsite is situated on a working farm, offering a charming rural atmosphere with ducks, geese, and chickens roaming freely. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. However, the narrow gates can make access slightly tricky for larger vehicles. The farm animals start their calls early in the morning, disrupting peace. The toilet facilities are limited and dated but are kept clean. The main issues are with the pitches: they are on a slope that cannot be leveled even with ramps, and the ground is uneven and marshy in places due to gray water overflow from previous campers. This marshy condition occurs even with little rain. The overall value for money is low given the pitch problems. Until the site improves pitch leveling and drainage, it is not recommended for a comfortable stay. The setting is pleasant for those who enjoy farm life, but the early morning noise from animals may not suit light sleepers. The sanitary facilities, though clean, are basic and insufficient for the number of campers. The location is easy to find despite the narrow entrance. The experience is marred by the uncomfortable pitches that make leveling impossible. The friendly staff are a highlight, but operational issues overshadow their efforts. The campsite has potential but currently falls short of expectations.
