This campsite occupies a truly spectacular location along a fjord, with sweeping views that stretch across the water and into the surrounding forest. The panorama is visible both from the swimming pool and from individual pitches, making every moment outdoors feel deeply connected to the landscape. The pool area provides an especially impressive vantage point, allowing guests to soak in the natural beauty while swimming or relaxing nearby. The overall atmosphere is serene and visually captivating, ideal for travelers who appreciate dramatic scenery and a tranquil retreat. In some years the site has felt peaceful and quiet, with minimal disturbances from outside noise and a relaxing, nature-focused ambiance. It is a beautiful base for those with a campervan, offering a pleasant natural setting that invites calm and restoration. However, during at least one season the campsite operated as a high-volume commercial enterprise, with pitches crammed exactly to the dimensions guests specified, leaving no extra space. Fire safety setbacks were routinely ignored, and an overflow meadow housed campers who could not fit on the main site. The shop and food options were limited and overpriced, while the kiosk offered poor variety at high cost. Sanitary blocks were worn but clean, though far too few toilets were provided for the number of guests. Showers were restricted to three minutes per day via wristband, with additional fees for longer use. The swimming pools, though small, were overcrowded with children, and a new hotel was under construction near the reception and pool. The beach and sea views remained stunning, yet jellyfish were abundant during one visit, and no rinsing showers were available after leaving the water. A worn water slide cost extra and was generally not worth the money. In later years the sanitary facilities, while showing some age, were kept clean, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfect for nature lovers who value space and proximity to the water. The campsite remains a good choice for a tranquil stay in a beautiful landscape, provided travelers are aware of potential seasonal crowding and limited amenities.
