This campsite is nestled in a breathtaking setting with stunning mountain views, particularly from the trekker field where tents are placed. The location is peaceful and within walking distance of a village, making it a great base for exploring scenic routes in the area. The owners are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and motivated, going above and beyond to assist guests, such as offering to dry a wet tent in a warm cellar. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet in the evenings, though during peak times the placement of caravans and campers can feel cramped, with some positioned very close to tents. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated, with an additional charge for hot water in the older building, but a new, modern washhouse is available for a fee, which is very clean and lovely. During busy periods, there may be queues for the showers in the older building. The campsite is clean and well-maintained, with grassy pitches. The overall cost is high, typical for Switzerland, but many guests feel the value for money is good given the beautiful surroundings. While there are no dedicated facilities for children, families with older children can still enjoy their stay. The indoor common area is a nice space to relax in bad weather. Long-term guests may initially seem reserved but become friendly once engaged. Guests consistently praise the staff and location, and many express a strong desire to return, highlighting the overall positive experience despite extra costs for certain amenities. The campsite is recommended for those traveling in this region.
