This family-friendly campsite, nestled in a wooded area with stunning alpine scenery, offers a mix of strengths and notable drawbacks. The spacious, shady pitches often have trees, and cars are parked separately for added tranquility. A small swimming pool provides a refreshing late-afternoon dip, though it can feel crowded in peak season and has been reported as very cold. The friendly, welcoming staff, particularly Luce-Maria, receive high praise. The on-site shop is convenient and well-regarded, but the restaurant consistently disappoints, with very mediocre food. The campsite draws a mix of Dutch and Italian guests, making it easy for older children to find playmates. However, the constant noise from a nearby hydroelectric plant, just 50 meters away, is a significant disturbance both day and night, and the sound from a power plant is also noticeable at night. The sanitary facilities are largely outdated with many squat toilets, though they are kept clean and well-maintained. Some pitches are quite small, typical for Italian sites. The surrounding area offers excellent hiking trails and castles to explore. Dogs are welcome despite some outdated information suggesting otherwise. Returning guests recommend a specific garden spot behind the owners' house, especially during high season. Overall, the campsite combines a beautiful mountain backdrop and pleasant staff with ongoing issues of noise and aging facilities.
