This campsite serves as a convenient base for exploring the Cinque Terre and Genoa, with a train station not far away and a city center nearby that boasts beautiful beaches. It is easy to reach by car, though drivers should follow signs carefully or use a GPS. Each pitch comes with electricity and its own water point, ensuring comfort and ease during your stay. The pitches are level and easy to access, many with their own water supply, though they are on the small side. The atmosphere is distinctly Italian, especially on weekends when many families with grandparents and children gather, creating a peaceful and family-friendly setting. The staff is friendly and attentive, speaking very good German for German-speaking guests, and they create a welcoming atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are outdated but clean and functional, with good showers and even a hygienic Indian-style toilet spray. However, the water temperature for showers is only lukewarm at best, which can be a drawback. The campsite is situated on a decent gravel pitch, but noise from the nearby motorway can be bothersome. The restaurant only operates on weekends, which may be inconvenient for weekday visitors. Accessing the train to Cinque Terre requires a considerable walk. In August, a shuttle service runs to the beaches and the town center. During the Covid period, some toilet facilities were partially closed. Overall, the combination of a central location, well-equipped pitches, and helpful staff makes this a practical and pleasant choice for travelers seeking a tranquil retreat.
