This lakeside campsite right in Bardolino is one of the few in the area with availability during peak season, making it a reliable last-minute choice. Its location is fantastic, with a supermarket just 100 meters away and direct access to Lake Garda via its own jetty. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, earning high praise year after year. Sanitary facilities are consistently described as exceptionally clean and spacious, a standout feature that guests appreciate. The site is small, cozy, and well-kept, with friendly and professional staff contributing to a positive atmosphere. However, the campsite lacks shade and greenery, and the lake breeze is blocked by fixed cabins. Some pitches are quite small, and the access road can be tricky to navigate. There is no swimming pool, though the lake access and a decent swimming area compensate. The policy of requesting a passport from each guest as a deposit feels excessive, and many suggest a simpler check-in process. Constant road noise is a major drawback, especially from vehicles revving and weekly two-stroke engine trimming, which disrupts peace and wakes guests. Despite advance booking, guests are often assigned noisy pitches near the road, while quieter central spots are reserved for long-term stays. Reception staff appear indifferent to complaints about noise or pitch placement, as the campsite is usually fully booked. This leads many regular visitors to decide never to return, as peaceful relaxation is hard to find. Overall, it offers a convenient base with good amenities, but noise-sensitive travelers should look elsewhere, and family features like playgrounds are absent.
