This small family-run campsite makes a great first impression with exceptionally friendly staff who readily accept ACSI cards and offer discounts, setting a welcoming tone from check-in. The pitches are reasonably sized and spacious, though many are covered with coarse gravel and offer little shade, which can make hot days uncomfortable. The nearby lake is a highlight, with well-maintained and exclusive access reserved for campers, providing a refreshing escape. Guests can enjoy walking their dog around the lake or cycling along the Inn River, as the location is ideal for outdoor activities. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food with quick service during the week, but it can become very busy and noisy on weekends. A supermarket and bakery are located just across the main road for daily essentials. The sanitary blocks are spotlessly clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort. Some pitches near reception may experience road noise and the hum of the restaurant's ventilation system, but the area grows quiet at night. Cycling paths start right from the campsite, making it easy to explore nearby towns like Rosenheim and Wasserburg. This campsite is extremely dog-friendly, with excellent opportunities for relaxed walks around the lake. The staff and owners are exceptionally friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. Regular visitors appreciate the consistent quality and return year after year. This site is equally suitable for a short stopover or a longer stay, offering a simple but complete experience.
