This campsite sits in an excellent location that serves as a fantastic base for excursions and family outings, with children absolutely loving the place for its fun and engaging environment. The sanitary facilities are relatively new, but their design is poor and lacks practicality; the toilets consistently suffer from unpleasant odors due to no ventilation, and there are no waste bins near the washbasins. The entire site lacks lighting after dark, making navigation difficult at night. Water points are inconveniently far from many pitches. The pitches themselves are rather small. Despite the superb setting, the overall cost is on the higher side, and visitors expect more for their money given these shortcomings. The combination of high price and inconvenient amenities makes the campground not recommended overall. Kids still enjoy the adventurous outdoor opportunities and day trips available from this location. However, the lack of basic comforts like proper lighting and accessible water detracts from the experience. The site's appeal is undermined by these practical issues that affect daily convenience. Families might find the trade-off acceptable for a fun trip, but others will be disappointed. The mixed reputation reflects a place that could be much better with more thoughtful design and management. Ultimately, the superb location cannot compensate for the significant disadvantages in facilities and value.
