The charming town of Arnes is within walking distance, providing easy access to local amenities. Pitches are consistently described as flat, level, and spacious, with some larger options available and optional 10-amp electricity. Washroom facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the heated sanitary block ensures comfort even in cooler weather. The restaurant serves excellent lunch and dinner, though during the week it operates only at midday; fresh bread is available each morning, but not before 9 a.m. The pool area is spotless, with plenty of sunbeds and a great cafe bar. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming, contributing to a positive atmosphere. The site is clean, orderly, and well-organized, with a washing machine available for a small fee including detergent. While the atmosphere is overwhelmingly tranquil, a party of young cyclists caused slight noise one night, and taller motorhomes should watch for low-hanging trees near pitches. The quiet ambiance is especially appreciated in October, making it a great spot for a restorative getaway. Guests must travel to nearby towns for groceries, but the combination of tranquility and nearby activities ensures a relaxing yet engaging stay. Visitors frequently express they would happily return.
