This campsite offers a mix of experiences depending on the time of visit. In early September, the pool, shop, and restaurant are closed, and the site feels outdated with many old caravans, though the terrain is attractive and it may get crowded on weekends. By 2023, it provides excellent value for money with a beautiful setting near the town of Abejar, a beach, and a swimming pool, though the pool water is always cold. However, in 2025, visitors face severe communication issues as the receptionist does not speak English. The pitches are located among permanent guests with old static caravans and are sloped, making leveling difficult. The swimming area, though well-maintained, had no water during a visit. Sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, and the on-site restaurant serves excellent food. The campsite is near the Picos de Urbión and Laguna Negra, offering natural attractions and activities like hiking. Despite its drawbacks, it can be a good base for exploring the region, especially for Spanish-speaking guests who appreciate value and dining. The campsite's modernization is needed, and it may not suit those seeking peace or luxury. Overall, it is a budget-friendly option with a varied experience.
