This campsite enjoys a fantastic location on the edge of Vaison-la-Romaine, within easy walking distance of the historic town center, Roman ruins, shops, and restaurants. It serves as an excellent base for cyclists, with Mont Ventoux practically on the doorstep and numerous scenic routes starting from the pitch. The atmosphere is wonderfully friendly and community-oriented, with regular pétanque competitions that help guests get to know one another. Staff are consistently described as exceptionally caring, friendly, and responsive, going out of their way to assist guests. Pitches vary in size, with some being quite spacious, and all come with electricity, water, and wastewater connections. Sanitary facilities are repeatedly praised for being very clean and well-maintained. A pleasant swimming pool with a jacuzzi is available for relaxation, though it may not open early in the season. The campsite also offers fresh pizza baked on site, regional wine tastings, and a fresh bread service in the mornings. A supermarket can be reached on foot, and a weekly market in town adds to the local flavor. The site is particularly calm during school periods, as there are no youth animation programs, making it a quiet retreat. Many guests return year after year, a testament to the consistent quality and welcoming spirit. The surrounding region is beautiful, with plenty of attractions to discover, while the overall value for money is considered excellent.
