The staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and smiling, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The campsite itself is compact and generally quiet, with basic yet adequate sanitary facilities that are regularly cleaned. However, noise from organized group activities is a significant issue, as there are no designated quiet hours or effective monitoring, leading to disturbances that can last all night. The sanitary blocks have several drawbacks: showers often produce only lukewarm or cold water, toilets sometimes lack paper and are not always kept clean, and the chemical toilet disposal point has been described as insanitary. Maintenance is another concern; the site appears unkempt and there are hazards such as wooden planks with protruding rusty screws left on pitches. Additionally, a campsite dog is allowed to defecate without cleanup. While the staff are generally praised, there is one report of dismissive reception behavior toward non-French visitors. Despite these issues, the beautiful riverside setting, canoe rentals, and adjacent restaurant remain strong draws for many guests, who express a desire to return.
