The pitches are spacious and set among cherry and walnut trees, with many affording lovely views of the adjacent castle, though overhanging branches can pose a scratch risk for larger vehicles. Fresh bread can be ordered each morning for a delightful breakfast, and a small shop at reception stocks basic groceries and a selection of wines. The reception staff are consistently friendly and helpful, going so far as to assist guests with repairs to their caravan water pumps. Sanitary facilities are simple but generally clean, cleaned once daily, though they can feel insufficient during wet weather and may have a faint odor from the chemical toilet disposal. Showers sometimes run excessively hot after a long wait, and the number of toilets and showers is considered inadequate for the campsite's size. Motorhome users should note that grey water cannot be emptied and fresh water must be refilled using a jerrycan. The immediate surroundings are unremarkable beyond the castle itself, but the city of Amiens is within cycling distance via a disused railway line, and the Cité Souterraine in Naours is a short drive away. WiFi is available for a daily fee but does not reach all pitches reliably. The access road is bumpy, and weekend evenings can be disrupted by disco music from the nearby village. The campsite is not listed in the ACSI France booklet, which some find unfortunate, but it is often recommended when nearby sites are full. It is a small, wooded site that is well-maintained and surprisingly popular among international travelers rather than local visitors. Drainage issues during prolonged rain have been noted, and the pitches can feel cramped when the site is fully booked, with some guests relegated to an emergency field.
