This campsite is set in a fantastic location along the sea, under eucalyptus trees, with stunning views over the bay. It offers direct access to a beautiful sandy beach with shallow water, perfect for swimming and building sandcastles. The site is conveniently close to the town of Igoumenitsa, with an easy bike path leading to the city center. Guests can choose their own pitch, with front areas providing plenty of shaded spots. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food at good prices, and the beach bar is a nice spot to unwind. Coffee is highly praised. Sanitary facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with some requiring a private key. Free WiFi is available throughout the campsite. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and English-speaking, even assisting with finding a dentist on a weekend. Late check-in or check-out is no problem, making it convenient for ferry schedules. The campsite is reasonably priced and accepts ACSI cards. However, outside the season, the restaurant and mini-market may be closed, though the town is a 5-minute drive away. There are many feral cats and stray dogs roaming the site, which are fed and appear healthy, but may be distressing for some. One reviewer noted a neglected appearance with an overgrown area and graffiti, despite an ACSI award. The playground is adequate. Overall, it is a highly recommended site for relaxation after a ferry crossing or for an extended stay, with many guests planning to revisit.
