This campsite offers a genuinely welcoming atmosphere where the friendly, fair manager goes out of their way to fulfill special requests and share valuable local insights, creating a family-oriented vibe that draws repeat visitors. The on-site restaurant serves sensational pizzas and fine wines with an excellent price-performance ratio, adding to the site's appeal. Public buses stop directly in front of the property, making car-free exploration easy and convenient. The overall ambiance is cozy and inviting, happily dispelling any earlier negative reviews as unfair comparisons to hotels or luxury resorts. However, upon arrival guests are typically assigned to the upper area, where pitches are notably cramped—some simply too small for comfort, with neighboring gear often pressing against awnings. The main sanitary block offers only four showers and three toilets for men, plus two additional toilets uphill that are not always kept clean—insufficient for the number of campers. On the bright side, staff remain friendly and always willing to help, and amenities include a swimming pool and a children's playground that families appreciate. Despite high marks for service, value, dining, and road access, the limited, occasionally unclean toilets and showers, along with cramped pitches, detract from an otherwise charming experience.
