This campsite on Corsica serves as an excellent base for exploring Calvi, offering a scenic location adjacent to a beautiful sandy beach shaded by trees. Guests can choose their own pitch, with options ranging from sunny to shaded spots, and pitches are generally generous in size. The sanitary facilities are kept clean and have been modernized for added comfort. A small playground is available for children, and the on-site minimarket covers essentials. The restaurant is decent, and the laundry service is excellent. The beach is clean with views of Calvi, though some visitors note seaweed in the water. The site experiences daytime noise from both a train line and the local airport flight path, but evenings remain undisturbed and train noise is not an issue. The historic citadel is reachable via a short train ride, while Calvi town is accessible by bicycle or a pleasant 20-minute walk. The landscape features dunes, pampas grass, and bamboo along a river, creating a dreamlike setting for relaxation. Some facilities show signs of age, and pitches can be very dusty. Showers are separated by gender, though some visitors ignore the signs. The reception staff can be unfriendly during arrival, but the site offers good value with the ACSI discount. Overall, it provides a pleasant and very enjoyable camping experience with a mix of natural beauty and coastal accessibility.
