This lakeside campsite enjoys an idyllic spot on the shores of Lake Iseo, with the town of Iseo within walking distance and stunning views over the lake and mountains. Many guests return year after year, finding it a wonderful family destination with a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere that makes stays enjoyable for weeks. The staff are consistently noted for their professionalism and kindness, contributing to a welcoming environment that draws visitors back annually. However, the campsite presents a mixed experience, with notable strengths in its location and swimming options but significant drawbacks in pitch size, booking policies, and maintenance. Pitches are often small and unkempt, with limited electricity at around 3 amps and sparse water tap points that can be inconvenient. A rigid booking policy requires full payment upon arrival with no refunds if guests leave early, which many find inflexible and off-putting. Sanitary facilities are outdated, often dirty, and lack basic amenities like hooks in showers, with unreliable hot water. A strict separation policy exists between guests with dogs and those without, relegating dog owners to an older, inferior part of the campground with smaller, dirtier washrooms and cold water. The site is well-maintained with clearly marked pitches, on-site water and drainage, and clean facilities for emptying and rinsing a camper toilet. It features two lovely swimming pools, a sports pool where guests can actually swim, and a separate playful family pool, plus direct access to Lake Iseo for swimming. Essential shopping is convenient with supermarkets like Conad and Lidl a pleasant 10-minute walk away, and a good restaurant and well-stocked shop are also nearby. The surrounding area offers plenty to explore, including the charming town of Iseo, a beautiful island for hiking and cycling, and the Franciacorta wine region with many good restaurants. Nearby Brescia is also worth a visit. Despite some positive aspects, the overall experience for many is deeply disappointing due to the two-class system and run-down facilities, with some guests feeling compelled to cut their trip short due to cramped conditions and lack of maintenance.
