This campsite is praised for its relaxed, no-nonsense atmosphere where guests feel welcome to enjoy themselves freely. The surrounding area is described as beautiful, offering opportunities for cycling and walking. The managers are exceptionally friendly, even gifting mothers a bottle of wine on Mother's Day, which was greatly appreciated. While the sanitary facilities are quite dated, they are kept clean. Campsites for short-term campers are nice, though some seasonal pitches are less attractive. Overall, guests express a desire to return, indicating a positive experience despite minor drawbacks. The campsite offers spacious pitches set in a forest, some featuring artificial grass for tent awnings to avoid mud. The management is no-nonsense and helpful. Groups can be accommodated with adjacent pitches. Toilet and shower facilities are split between an older block and a newer one, both kept very clean. A minor downside is that toilet paper and soap are not provided. Bike rentals are available, and the surrounding area is excellent for cycling and hiking. The on-site restaurant serves good food. Overall, the site is highly recommended for return visits.
