This campsite has experienced a dramatic decline in quality over recent years, shifting from a welcoming family destination to a place marked by poor management and safety concerns. In earlier seasons, guests enjoyed spacious pitches and a friendly staff that maintained high standards of cleanliness throughout the property. The swimming pool was once a superb highlight, offering a refreshing escape on warm days, and children had ample entertainment options to keep them engaged. The atmosphere was well-rounded, balancing relaxation and fun for families with young kids. However, after a change in ownership, the experience has soured considerably. The new management is described as unfriendly and lacking transparency, with staff consistently unhelpful and the manager avoiding direct communication. Safety issues have arisen, including reckless driving of golf carts around the grounds. Children are now actively discouraged from having fun, making it deeply disappointing for families. Large sections of the campsite are being demolished without proper notice, leading to unexpected changes with each visit. Guests who raise concerns are labeled as burdens and risk removal from the site, while the manager spreads untruths over the pool's microphone. High fees no longer match the level of service or clarity provided, and even local wildlife is being driven away by new practices. The once-recommended destination has lost its appeal and no longer lives up to its previous high rating. On a positive note, the on-site restaurant remains excellent and highly recommended, providing a standout experience amidst the otherwise poor management.
